New Courier Service Information – Sign up for MyMedSpeed Training
Riverside will be partnering with MedSpeed to provide courier services beginning February 19.
Riverside team members who use ANY courier services such as mail, specimen (urine, blood, tissue, etc.), deposits, medical equipment (wheelchairs, IV pumps, poles, etc.), supplies, linen (clean/dirty), imaging, lab, medical records, and anything taken to/from RMC to/from RMG or another hospital/Lab or location will need to complete a MyMedSpeed training session.
Please sign up for MedSpeed Portal training found in the attached document. This is crucial for a seamless transition on 2/19/24. If you are not available during the 3 selected times or if you have any questions please partner with Amy Newman, Supply Chain Manager at [email protected].

Our main focus for 2024 will be on all-staff unconscious bias training, LGBTQ+ policy and advocacy, increasing diversity of our workforce and identifying bilingual staff to complete language competency testing.
Express your interest by completing the DEI Governance Committee Interest Form by end of day on Friday, February 9th, 2024. Your involvement is crucial in creating an environment where everyone feels heard and valued.

Valentine’s Day Long Stem Roses – Preorder for Pickup
How fun this will be! Pre-order your long-stem roses by Feb. 10 and they will be ready for you to pick up on Tuesday 2/13 or Wednesday 2/14. Roses come with a water tube and will be wrapped in tissue. Pick out a card and some Lindor chocolate for a memorable gift. All orders will need to be prepaid by Feb. 10 and will be ready to be picked up on Tuesday or Wednesday at the Gift Shop.

You can choose between two different $2 candy grams to send to your co-workers:

Candy grams will be available for purchase until 2/11/24 and will be delivered to departments the week of 2/12/24. Proceeds will benefit heart care at Riverside.

Hoover Donates Stuffed Animals to Riverside Ambulances
The Hoover staff collected new, gently used, homemade stuffed animals for the Riverside Ambulances to hand out to pediatric patients. The collection was a HUGE success, and the Ambulance staff appreciated the donation!
