Contributions to Nursing Excellence at Riverside

The Professional Development Council would like to recognize the following nurses for their contribution to nursing excellence at Riverside.  Certification and re-certification require significant time and effort.  We congratulate and celebrate the nurses who make this effort on behalf of their patients and colleagues.  Certification is an achievement, and demonstrates a commitment to exemplary patient care.  Thank you all for your hard work, we appreciate you!

Jolynn Toma, who works in the Cardiac Cath Lab, received her Cardiovascular Nursing Certification.

Afton Dearinger, Intensive Care Unit, earned her Critical Care Registered Nurse certification. 

Angela Heldt, Nurse Practitioner for Pulmonology  recertified in Adult Geriatric Primary Care.

Rachel Denault, Wound Care Center RN, earned her Wound Care Certification (WCC)

Judi Brault, LPN at Butterfield, recertified as a CUA, (Certified Urologic Associate)

Shannon Greenquist FNP-BC in the Heart and Vascular Institute, obtained her Cardiac-Vascular Nursing Certification.

The Nursing Excellence Fund is available for RN’s who are obtaining their BSN as well as nurses looking to prove excellence in their field.  Programs are available to defray certification costs upfront.  Ask about the Success Pays program at OD&L x4968!
