Riverside Medical Center Residency and Fellowship Graduation 2023
Riverside’s Graduate Medical Education celebrated nine doctors in training at their 10th annual Residency and Fellowship Graduation Program on Friday, June 9th. Pictured are 5 Internal Medicine Residents (Stephen Tulley, DO, Ahmed Ismail, DO, Alketa Zyka, DO, Matthew Sutherland, DO, and Dhruv Joshi, DO), 1 Gastroenterology Fellow, (Nistha Rawal, DO), 1 Cardiology Fellow (Uday Patel, DO) and 1 Interventional Cardiology Fellow (Navdeep Tandon, MD). We also recognized Martin Tehan, DO, who has completed three years as a psychiatry resident and will fast-track to a Child Psychiatry Fellowship. All graduates were gifted a personalized bobblehead! We wish them the best in their future endeavors as a doctor!
Riverside Pathways Donates to Gayles Rescue
As part of healthcare month in May, Pathways staff chose Gayle’s Rescue to collect donations for homeless, mistreated and sick kittens and cats. Featured in photo are Pathways staff Kelsey Kerrigan and LoriAnn Bruer, Gayle Magnuson featured in the middle.
Congratulations Nancy Moore, Community Engagement Award Winner!
Riverside congratulates Nancy Moore, Patient Liaison, on receiving the 2023 Glen Marcum Community Engagement Award for her 28 years of support for Relay for Life of Kankakee County and the American Cancer Society.
Nancy’s dedication to serving the community is an inspiration to us all, and we are beyond grateful to have her in the Riverside family.

Home Health Celebrates Nurse’s Month
Nurses Month and Healthcare Week were celebrated in May with a focus on nurse and staff appreciation. Nurse’s given a nurse hat-shaped cookie with a statement attached as to why they became a nurse. To show further appreciation, all HHC staff enjoyed an ice cream social sundae bar, taco food truck, succulent plants and coffee. Thank you for growing with our Riverside Home Health Family.
